A setback

Well, the chemo Monday went very well. It's not Wed and my grandpa still hasn't gotten sick from it. However, he did have to be hospitalized this morning because his lung collapsed. They said it could be 3 things. 1. pneumonia 2. the cancer is being aggressive 3. the chemo is being aggressive. Sad thing is, he's been in there for 9 hours and they still haven't ruled anything out.

They have him hooked up to a Cpap for now to force oxygen into the lung to keep it inflated. Depending on what the surgeon and the cancer Dr come up with, they might put in a chest tube.

Things were looking so good up until this morning but hopefully my grandparents won't loose the faith.

Last week, my grandpa talked about how he was going to beat the cancer and the things he was going to do. Now, I don't think he'll look past today.
